Band Program
IHHS Music Program
The music program at IHHS consists of a grade 7, grade 8, and grade 9 band, a senior band, and a senior choir. There is also an extra-curricular component that strives to meet the needs of student interest. Students from the program have also participated in the Saskatchewan Honour Groups.
Throughout the year students perform a Christmas and Spring Concert for the community as well as participate in the Mainline Music Festival, Music Monday, Superband, and band tour. The junior band students generally tour within Saskatchewan while the senior students tour out of province.
The parental support behind the program is the Indian Head Band Parent's Association. They help fundraise and organize events for the students in order to help all of the ‘extras’ possible.
